This policy explains how fixjson.org handles tool input, analytics, hosting data, and advertising technologies.

Data entered into the tools
JSON, YAML, XML, HTML, CSV, Base64, URL, and other text entered into the tools is processed by code running in your browser. The core repair, validation, formatting, diffing, conversion, encoding, and decoding actions do not intentionally send that tool input to a fixjson.org application server.
Some tools can render or contain references to external resources. For example, an HTML preview that includes a remote image or stylesheet may cause your browser to contact that resource's host. Browser extensions and software installed on your device are also outside fixjson.org's control.
Hosting and analytics
The hosting infrastructure may use request information including your IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp, and referrer to deliver and secure the site and diagnose failures.
The site uses Google Analytics in order to understand visits and how the site is performing. Analytics may collect page and device information, interactions, approximate location derived from network information, and identifiers or cookies permitted by your browser and consent choices. The site does not knowingly configure analytics in order to capture the contents pasted into tool editors.
Advertising cookies
If advertising is enabled, fixjson.org may use Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver ads, measure performance, limit repetition, detect invalid traffic, and personalize advertising where permitted.
Your choices
You have the right to control cookies thru your browser settings and thru the consent controls we provide on the site. You can manage your choices for customized ads on the Google Ads Settings page. Blocking analytics or advertising scripts can have an effect on measurement or ad behavior, but should not be required for core text processing tools.
